RIVM guidelines are leading

De Volksbank is closely following developments related to the coronavirus. To prevent the rapid spread of the virus, de Volksbank adheres to the guidelines of the RIVM, the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment.

We continue to offer customer service

On our side we do everything we can to prevent the coronavirus from spreading further. At the same time we do everything in our power to ensure that our services continue as customers are used to.

As health comes first all SNS Shops will stay open on appointment for the time being In general, we are able to satisfactorily answer most of our customers’ questions in other ways, such as by telephone, WhatsApp and messages on social media. SNS customers can also reach their personal adviser via the SNS Give and Go app. For more information, SNS customers can visit the SNS website for private individuals (particulieren) and SME (zakelijk). If something changes, we inform our customers via social media channels or a personal message

Customer service continuity is also of paramount importance for RegioBank and BLG Wonen advisers. RegioBank customers can visit our website for more information.

ASN Bank customers can contact the Customer Contact Centre by telephone or email as usual. The contact details can be found here.

Measures taken to protect our employees

In principle, our employees work from home. This is, of course, decided in close consultation, so that customer service continuity is guaranteed. Working from home in itself is not new as the majority of our staff already works from home for part of the week, which is why we are already fully equipped to conduct remote meetings.

Critical business processes

There are a number of processes within de Volksbank that are considered vital by the government. We have already taken far-reaching precautionary measures for departments falling into this category. The staff working in these departments have been split up into so-called A and B teams. They alternately work from home, so that our service provision is guaranteed at all times.

Meetings

Until at least 6 April, we will not hold any physical meetings at de Volksbank or its brands. Meetings with suppliers - with the exception of those who contribute to the bank's critical business processes - have also been postponed or will take place in another way.

Hygiene measures

For colleagues who, due to their role in critical business processes, still work at a location or are in close contact with customers, we apply the hygiene measures as recommended by the RIVM. Extra alcohol pumps and soap have been installed at these locations. In addition, extra cleaning is carried out on our premises.
