Decisions made at de Volksbank’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2024
The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) of de Volksbank N.V. (de Volksbank) was held on 22 May 2024.
At the AGM, shareholder NLFI adopted the financial statements for 2023 and granted discharge to the members of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board for the performance of their duties in 2023. NLFI also approved de Volksbank’s proposal to pay out a dividend of € 164 million to be charged to the result for 2023.
Ernst & Young Accountants LLP was reappointed as external auditor for 2024 and 2025.
Furthermore, at the AGM, Roland Boekhout was appointed to the Executive Board of de Volksbank for a term of 4 years ending at the 2028 AGM. He will take on the role as Chief Executive Officer.
At the AGM, the Executive Committee and the Supervisory Board expressed their thanks to Martijn Gribnau, whose term as CEO ended at the close of the meeting, for his passion and efforts in driving the bank forward over the last four years.
