Negative interest rate on business accounts over €100,000

As from 1 April 2021, SNS, ASN Bank and RegioBank will charge business customers an interest rate of 0.5% a year on balances of more than € 100,000 per current account, savings account and investment account. This limit had previously been set at € 250,000. Due to the costs for the bank resulting from the very low and negative interest rates in Europe, de Volksbank’s brands cannot but further reduce the previously announced negative interest rate limit on business accounts.
