André Haag (1982) is Chief Finanical Officer of de Volksbank and member of the statutory board. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in August 2022.
André Haag is of German nationality and has been living in the Netherlands for several years.
He earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Staatliche Studienakademie in Leipzig (Germany) and M.A. in Finance & Banking from the Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr (Germany).
Parallel to his studies, André Haag worked at a German public sector bank from 2002 to 2005, where he learned about the banking profession. In 2005 he decided to go into management consulting. For six years, he thus worked for different banks across Europe as a consultant for Ernst & Young - Financial Advisory, PA Consulting Group and IBM Financial Consulting, allowing him to see the many facets of banking on an international scale.
In 2011, André Haag joined Deutsche Bank as Finance Director in Frankfurt am Main (Germany), where he worked several years across the banking group. Until end of 2019 he held a number of senior positions at Deutsche Bank in Luxembourg and Germany, notably as Country CFO Luxembourg and Director in Regional Finance Germany. In 2016 André Haag was appointed to the Management Board at Deutsche Holdings Luxembourg S.à r.l., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG, as CFO.
In 2020, André Haag joined Triodos Bank, where he was a member of the Executive Board as Group CFO.
